Shozi Motors

Terms of sale

01

Who we are

Shozi Motors is a trading name of Shozi Group. We source new vehicles in China and export them to the destination port you choose. These terms apply to every quotation and order, together with the terms printed on your quotation. If the two differ, your quotation wins.

02

Prices and quotations

Prices on this website are indicative. They are in US dollars, delivered CIF to the port shown (cost, insurance and freight). Amounts in local currency are approximate conversions, for guidance only.

A price becomes binding only in a written quotation from us. Quotations are valid for 7 days, because Chinese prices and exchange rates move. Once we receive your deposit within that time, your price is fixed.

Prices exclude import duty, VAT, clearing and port charges at the destination, and inland transport. Any duty figure we show is an estimate to help you plan, never a guarantee.

03

Vehicles sourced to order

If you ask for a vehicle that is not in our catalogue, we confirm the make, model, version, colour and price in writing on your quotation before you pay anything.

04

Payment

80% of the quotation total is payable to place the order. We then buy your vehicle in China and send you photographs of the actual unit with its VIN.

The 20% balance is payable before the vehicle is loaded. We book vessel space only once it has cleared.

The deposit is non-refundable once we have bought your vehicle. If the balance is unpaid 30 days after the vehicle is purchased, Shozi Group may resell the vehicle and keep the deposit.

If we cannot buy the vehicle you ordered, we tell you straight away and refund your deposit in full.

Pay only into the Shozi Group bank account named on your proforma invoice, in US dollars. Bank charges on your side are yours. We will never change our bank details by email or WhatsApp — if you receive a message saying otherwise, check with us before you pay.

05

Shipping, risk and documents

The bill of lading is issued to the order of Shozi Group. Original documents are released to you, or to your clearing agent, once all funds have cleared.

As is standard for CIF sales, the risk in the vehicle passes to you when it is loaded on board the vessel in China. The marine insurance included in the price covers it from then until it arrives at your port.

The vehicle has 30 days of free storage at the destination port. After that, storage is at your expense.

Lead times are estimates. Shipping schedules, port congestion, customs and events outside our control can cause delays, and we are not responsible for them — but we will keep you informed at every step.

06

When your vehicle arrives

Please check the vehicle when it is released at the port. Tell us within 7 days of any damage in transit, with photographs, so that we can claim on the marine insurance for you.

07

Importing and registering

You are responsible for making sure the vehicle can be imported and registered in your country, and for import duty, taxes, clearing and inland transport. Your clearing agent can confirm the rules before you order.

08

Vehicle and warranty

Photographs on the website show the model and may not show the exact version, colour or equipment. The version and colour you order are set out in your quotation.

Warranties issued by manufacturers in China may not be honoured outside China. Any warranty we can offer on your vehicle is stated on your quotation.
